A Car fit for a Teenager
Once a teenager has passed their driving test, the next thing they’re going to be thinking about is the car that they want. Options can actually be rather limited, mainly because of the high cost of insurance premiums for young drivers, and it’s a major factor in choosing a car fit for a teen.
Saloons and sports cars tend to be significantly high in terms of insurance, because of engine size, leaving the choice between family cars and hatchbacks. A Ford Fiesta is an ideal car for teenagers and its main rivals include the Citroen Saxo, Renault Clio, Volkswagen Polo and the Vauxhall Corsa. There are some of the leading hatchbacks, while family cars that are potentially a bit pricier (in terms of insurance) but are still fit for a teen include the Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra, Honda Civic, Mazda 3 and an Audi A3.
Of course there are other options out there, and these are merely a few of the most popular choices. If you’re a teenager who has just passed his or her test, then make sure you consider insurance, and you may want to consider the models we mentioned in this post.
